Day 1: Cusco - Train Station in Ollantaytambo - Aguas Calientes - Machu Picchu - Return to Cusco
Start of the Day and Transportation from the Hotel:
- 6:30 to 7:00 AM: Pick up at your hotel or Airbnb in Cusco.
- Transfer to Chinchero: 45-minute drive to the picturesque town of Chinchero.
Visit to Chinchero:

Day 2: GUIDED TOUR TO MACHU PICCHU AND RETURN TO CUSCO
Start of the Day and Breakfast at the Hotel:
- 5:00 AM: Wake up early to enjoy breakfast at the hotel before heading to the bus station.
Bus transfer to Machu Picchu:
- 5:30 AM: Departure from the bus station in Aguas Calientes to the main entrance of Machu Picchu. The bus ride takes approximately 25 minutes.
Entrance and Exploration of Machu Picchu:
- 6:00 AM: Entry to the Inca citadel with the group and the guide.
- Classic Viewpoint: Head first to the top of Machu Picchu for the iconic panoramic view and, weather permitting, enjoy the spectacular sunrise.
- Photos and views: Time to capture stunning photos and marvel at the scenery from the lookout point.
Guided Tour in Machu Picchu:
- 6:30 AM – 9:00 AM: Guided tour inside the citadel of Machu Picchu. The guide will offer detailed explanations about the history, architecture and mysteries of this sacred site.
- Highlights: The Temple of the Sun, the Sacred Rock, agricultural terraces and other points of interest will be part of the guided tour.
Free Time for Personal Exploration:

Return Bus to Aguas Calientes:
- 9:30 AM: Bus transfer back to Aguas Calientes, lasting 25 minutes.

Free Time in Aguas Calientes:

Train trip from Aguas Calientes to Ollantaytambo:
- 2:30 or 3:20 PM: Board the panoramic train back from Aguas Calientes to Ollantaytambo.
- Duration: The trip lasts 1 hour and 45 minutes, crossing the beautiful Sacred Valley again.
Transfer to Cusco:
- Reception at Ollantaytambo station: The agency staff will wait for you at the station with your name for the transfer back to Cusco.
- Travel by vehicle: Transfer by private vehicle to Cusco, with a travel time of approximately 2 hours.
Arrival in Cusco:
- 6:30 PM: Arrival in Cusco. The tour will end at Plaza Regocijo, one block from Plaza de Armas.

The Peruvian government offers a special discount on Machu Picchu tickets for students who meet certain requirements, reflected in the price of our tour.
Requirements to Obtain the Student Price:
- Age: Be under 25 years old at the time of visit.
- Student ID:
- It must be a physical, plastic card (similar to a credit card).
- It must show the name of the university, personal information, a photo of the student, and a validity date (valid for at least one year from the visit).
- The ISIC card is not accepted, only those issued by official academic institutions.
Important Considerations
- The card must meet these requirements, as it will be requested upon entering Machu Picchu.
- If you do not meet the requirements, the full entrance fee will be charged on site, subject to availability.
It is important to ensure that your card meets these criteria before booking your tour as a student.

Payment Options:
- Debit or Credit Cards: All cards are accepted with an additional charge of 2.9%.
- Customers in the United States: You can also make payments without additional charge from a bank account.

Booking Process:
- Initial Prepayment: To confirm your reservation, a non-refundable prepayment of $180 USD per person is required, used to purchase tickets that are personal, non-refundable, and non-reprogrammable.
- Payment of the Remaining Balance: The balance must be paid at our office in Cusco at least 24 hours before the start of the tour, in cash (soles or dollars) or by card (3.9% fee). It can also be paid online with a 2.9% fee.
- Full Payment: If you prefer, you can pay the full amount at the time of booking. In case of cancellation, the full amount will be refunded less the $180 USD prepayment.
Cancellation Policy:
- The $180 USD prepayment is non-refundable. We recommend reviewing all policies before confirming your payment.
