Day 1: City Tour in Cusco

The Cusco tour is perfect for those arriving in the city and wanting to explore it up close. It starts at 1:00 pm at our office, followed by a 10-minute walk to Koricancha, where a specialized guide will explain its meaning. Then, we will take a bus to Sacsayhuamán, known for its impressive Inca stonework.

We will continue to the Qenqo caves, a site of Inca rituals, and then visit Pucapucara, an ancient checkpoint. Finally, we will explore Tambomachay, famous for its water sources. We will return to Cusco around 6:00 p.m. This tour provides a comprehensive overview of the history of Cusco and is ideal for acclimatizing to the altitude.

Day 2: Exploring the Sacred Valley

Join us on an exciting tour of the Sacred Valley, one of Cusco’s top attractions. Explore ancient Incan cities while enjoying stunning views of the Urubamba River. After a journey of approximately 1 hour, we will arrive at Pisac. Here, our guide will show you the Inca archaeological site.

Second stop: Lunch in Urubamba
Around 12:30 p.m., we will enjoy a buffet lunch in the picturesque village of Urubamba. Lunch offers options for vegetarians, vegans, and gluten-free diets (please let us know in advance if you have any dietary restrictions).

Third stop: Ollantaytambo
After lunch, we will head to Ollantaytambo, where we will take a tour of the archaeological site around 3:00 p.m. This Inca site was an important fortress and one of the few places where the Incas managed to defeat the Spanish in battle. Train Trip to Aguas Calientes:

Arrival in Aguas Calientes:

Trip to Moray
From our office, we will board a vehicle for a 1.5 hour drive to Moray.

Entrance to Moray
Upon arrival, you will need to purchase your entrance tickets if you have not already done so or present the tickets purchased in advance.

  • Free time: After the explanation, you will have free time to explore and take pictures.

Visit to the Maras Salt Mines
We will continue our tour to the Maras Salt Mines, where you will receive another guided tour to learn about the traditional salt extraction process, practiced in the region for centuries.

Return to Cusco
After visiting the salt mines, we will return to Cusco, arriving at approximately 3:00 pm. The tour will end with a return to the city center.

We will pick you up from 8:20 AM from your hotel or accommodation in the city of Cusco. For your convenience, we recommend staying in the city center.

    Our tour begins at the Tipón Archaeological Site, also known as the Water Temple. Here you will marvel at the impressive irrigation system and agricultural terraces dating back to the Inca era.

  2. Pikillaqta – Ancient Wari City
    Next, we will head south to Pikillaqta, the ancient city of the Wari culture. This pre-Inca urban center was significant for its size and served as an important administrative and religious center. Enjoy stunning views of the Huacarpay Lagoon wetlands, located in the town of Lucre.

  3. Andahuaylillas – The Sistine Chapel of America
    Our last stop will be the district of Andahuaylillas, home to the Church of San Pedro Apóstol de Andahuaylillas. Known as the Sistine Chapel of America, this impressive church was built in the 17th century and features one of the most exquisite examples of colonial art, with gilded altars, murals and polychrome ceilings.

    You can choose to pay in full for the tour when booking. If you need to cancel, we will refund the full amount minus the $180 USD deposit.
